African youth exploiting “green gold”

There is a common saying that not all that glitters is gold. But it’s also true that not all that doesn’t glitter is not gold.

Africa’s land has been blessed with the ability to produce enough food to feed the whole world, but today in Africa, the word “agriculture” has lost its appeal to most young people. The population of Africa that is actively engaging in food production is mostly an aging one, and Africa now finds itself at a point where it must actively find ways to encourage youth to take part in agriculture.
